The New MST Guardian Series is the Most Convenient and Effective Marine Engine Corrosion Control and Flushing System available

The MST Guardian system utilizes a patented multi-point injection technique to deliver a pulsating stream of water that fills every cubic inch of your cooling system and dislodges all salt and mineral deposits.
The system operates with the engine OFF and offers the following advantages over running the engine using traditional flushing methods:
Traditional flushing systems typically do not deliver an adequate volume of water to properly fill the entire engine. As a result, conventionally flushing engines causes internal overheating and damages and shortens the service life of the cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds, and other components.
Engines ran out of the water are unmuffled resulting in significant noise pollution and may violate local ordinances in many areas.
Manufacturers typically suggest that engines should be flushed with fresh water for at least 15 minutes after exposure to salt water. Additional engine run time, combined with the escalating cost of fuel results in a considerable added expense.
Engines ran out of the water generate significant effluent (runoff) that is heavily laden with gasoline and oil. In many coastal areas, this effluent must be captured and recycled to avoid possible contamination of the groundwater system.
To flush an operating engine, most boats without a Guardian system must be out of the water. The Guardian unit completely cleans the cooling system even if the boat is in the water.
Boats stored on davits or on other “hanging” systems are often suspended over water. Attaching fresh water hoses to out drives extended over water is extremely inconvenient and potentially dangerous, especially with engines running.
The MST Guardian is permanently mounted to your engine, with simple to use fittings that may be mounted anywhere on your boat. The system is operated in three easy steps:

bullet Attach fresh water source (standard water hose) to access panel (may be mounted virtually anywhere on boat, even external hull connection).
bullet Turn water on and allow it to flush for at least four minutes.
bullet Turn water off and disconnect from access panel. You’re through, and your engine cooling system is clean!
MST Guardian is far superior to any other flushing system on the market. The following is a list of shortfalls associated with other traditional engine flushing systems:
 ·       Flush ports – (offshore rated outboards) use only one point of entry (MST Guardian uses four). As a result, the Flush port is unable to deliver sufficient volume and water pressure to dislodge salt deposits. Recent tests demonstrate that internal water pressure utilizing a Flush port system is less than one psi.  MST Guardian system consistently registers internal water pressure ten times greater than a flush port.  A boater recently remarked: “The difference between Flush port and MST Guardian is like the difference in rinsing your mouth out with water and using a Water-Pick to clean your teeth”.
·         Muff Systems – (out drives for inboards and outboards) utilize the engines impeller to pump water from a garden hose connection up the out drive to the engine. (MST Guardian delivers fresh water from the top down). In some locals, the water main pressure is less than 40 psi. As a result, the muff system may not deliver a sufficient volume of water to flush and cool the entire engine. It has been estimated that up to 90% of all impeller damage occurs during engine flushing with a muff system.

T-Fitting Systems - (inboards) access the engine through only one point of entry. This results in some engine cavities receiving little (or no) fresh water due to cooling system designs that direct a majority of the cooling water flow down and out. The MST Guardian system delivers a pulsating stream of water through as many as six access points. The MST Guardian system has a patented design that automatically senses the pressure in each major cavity and ensures that every area is filled and “back flushed”.
·         Acid Bath Clean – (diesels) this method requires a periodic partial “teardown” and immersion in acid of the intercoolers and heat exchangers. This is an expensive and potentially hazardous process required to dissolve the salt/mineral buildup in these systems. The US Navy experienced significant overheating of a turbo-diesel engine after less than 100 hours of use and pulled the boat out of service for repairs. An MST Guardian unit was installed and one treatment with Flush magic was delivered in less than 10 minutes with engine still intact. Afterwards, the boat was placed back in service – overheating problem SOLVED! After an additional 240 hours of use (still no overheating) the same boat was pulled from service to evaluate the effectiveness of the MST Guardian system. The intercooler and heat exchanger was taken apart to reveal no salt buildup or other deposits!
MST Guardian is versatile and is designed for a full range of engines from large turbo-diesels to personal watercraft and generator/air-conditioning systems. MST Guardian is offered in four models that are designed to work at optimum efficiency and deliver correct water pressure to the entire cooling system. Models and general recommendation of applications are as follows:
MST Guardian is also available with simple to use chemical induction kits to combat rust, winterize and eliminate zebra mussel infestation.
